This is one of the last commercials in the mid 1980's starring Paul Ghiringhelli for Northern California Nissan/Datsun Dealers. Full-size vehicles were shot on a large green screen in a San Jose studio. Burlingame advertising executive Gene Bell was producer. Rich Yacco was director. Clip from the 50's TV series "Cavalcade of Stars" featuring a parody of Arthur Godfrey called "Arthur Clodfrey Time". Features parodies of early commercials and plugs, and the unpredictable nature of live TV. Certainly historically important, But you really have to know about early commercials to find this funny, Otherwise you will be confused.

Clip from "Cavalcade of Stars" featuring the trampolining act The Schaller Brothers. Pretty typical of low-budget DuMont Television Network, famous for airing anything which moved. But like much DuMont progamming, this clip is surprisingly entertaining and shows that TV doesn't need a big budget. This also shows The DuMont Network's love of vaudeville-type programming.

Since Suzuki's arrival, "dëji" things have been happening around Maise, like fish swimming around the room or a giant banyan tree smashing through the hotel ceiling. 1956 episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet", the 2nd longest running American sitcom of all time. This is a Christmas-themed episode. "Ozzie and Harriet" never reached the top 10 in the ratings, But steading ratings made sure that it out-lived many more better-known shows, and it's gentle corny humor made it popular with kids. Overall it's a classic show that has aged well. NOTE: This copy is a mid-60's re-run print, and features different commercials to the...

An episode of the 1962 revival of "The Big Payoff". Episode is slightly incomplete (a section near the beginning is missing), and as a daytime syndicated series it runs shorter than a prime-time series of the era. In this show, there are game show segments, fashion shows, and a song. EDIT: This may have been the pilot.
