Hiya! New to the archive, and this has been killing me ever since I had this memory of watching this video on Mexican TV.

The music video is animated and I remember the plot involves a young boy running away from home whilst a girl escapes an abusive relationship. The kid's mom gets in her car and searches for him across the city and bumps into the girl. She notices her bruises and drives around with her until she falls asleep. The boy finds a dog, ends up getting on a train and sits across from a homeless person. He daydreams about how he'll eventually become exactly like him and then he sees his mom, reuniting with her at the very end.

The art style reminds me vaguely of those Costume Quest videogames, and it was an otherwise pretty chill music video with only the implication of abuse (bruises on the girl and a drinking husband) and nothing too graphic.

I also recall seeing another music video involving shiny disco ball headed or balloon headed women rollerskating down the street. It was not animated, but live action. These were both segments that would alternate during commercials before returning to whatever show was on at the time.

I really hope someone has seen or remembers this, as the visuals are ingrained in my mind to this day. Thank you for your help regardless!
