Speaking of which, I wish they'd put Perry Mason on a streaming service here in Australia. I haven't seen the show, but I think I'd enjoy it. We have Paramount+ here but the selection of shows is more limited than what they have in the U.S., and the selection of shows available to stream in Australia includes a lot of shows nobody here has heard of like "Teen Mom", while at the same time not including many of the most popular shows owned by the Paramount/CBS.

Growing up in the US during the late 19050's early 60's I watched over half of these. We did not have Brian Henderson's Bandstand but did have an American version. Surprisingly similar but the performers are different.

The 1960's Perry Mason series is like a comic book on film. The books are well written and the screenwriters do a good job of edited down the plot into one hour. The new version suffers from this centuries reliance on visual and writing techniques that do not advance the thoughts, just the nerves.
