There was a full run of SEP, from the early 19th Century to the early 1970's on Archive up til last autumn -- what happened to it? I can understand dropping the issues from after 1925, but the entire run?

I found that too, but only about 50 are actual scans of the magazine. The collection that was here last fall had full years (it was a weekly publication) of the magazine. The scans were good, but flawed on close inspection. PDF files were named like this:
the-saturday-evening-post-1924-07-19
the-saturday-evening-post-1924-05-24
Historically, they were priceless.
