Not sure if anyone finds this interesting apart from me, but I did a search of the National Film and Sound Archive website to see what material they have digitised from Gippsland, Victoria, Australia television station GLV. This reveals that at least 200 tapes/film prints connected to the station have been digitised. This stuff isn't readily available, but still, at least it's been transferred to the safety of digital format. A lot of "local" programming from the regional stations is lost, so it's good that some survives from this station.... The material is mostly from the 1980s, but also includes some 1970s and 1990s material. It includes: news footage, local sports coverage, documentaries, "magazine" programming, local advertisements, a bit of other material. I'm hoping they digitise more material from the station...
