The following is a list of 1950s Australian TV episodes that have been digitised by the National Film and Sound Archive. These aren't readily available, and I'm hoping they find some way of making these more readily available. Given that the vast majority of 1950s Australian TV episodes are lost (perhaps as little as 1% of them survive), we should be grateful these exist at all. There are also still many episodes held that need to be digitised. Note that some of these episodes may be from the early 1960s. Note: several episodes of "The Bobby Limb Show" have been digitised, and are listed as 1959. However, I am convinced these are actually from 1960. Note: additional 1950s Australian TV material has been digitised by another archive, the National Archives of Australia. TV episodes: The Adventures of Long John Silver - 26 episodes [drama] Australian Walkabout - 4 episodes [documentary] Australia's Hit Parade - 1 episode [variety] Autumn Affair - 13 episodes [drama] Give it a Go - 4 episodes [game show] In Melbourne Tonight - 2 incomplete episodes [variety] [various 1960s episodes have also been digitised] Leave it to the Girls - 1 episode [talk show] The Pressure Pak Show - 4 episodes [game show] The Quiz Kids - 1 episode [game show] Raising a Husband - 1 episode [game show] Six O'Clock Rock - 1 episode [variety. Plus additional material from the 60s) This I Believe - 1 episode [news] Wheel of Fortune - 1 incomplete episode [game show] Woman's World - 2 incomplete episodes [lifestyle] Additionally, the following TV specials have been digitised: The Village Glee Club The Subject is Jazz Swallows Parade Spectacular Spring Dance Festival HSV7 Test Transmission [note: this aired before the "official" debut of station HSV-7] GTV 9 Opening Night [note: variety show on GTV-9's first "official" night on the air, though the station had already made transmissions prior to this]

Also:
An episode of "The Amazing Miss A" has been digitised, but is currently mislabelled as being a film. Strictly speaking this aired in 1960, however it was filmed in 1959, so I guess it sorta counts as 1950s TV. The series starred pianist Winifred Atwell, who was born in Trinidad. This was the first Australian series starring a Black woman....
