"Give it a Go" is an Australian game show which aired in 1957.

The National Film and Sound Archive holds around 20 or so episodes, as kinescope prints. They have transferred 4 to digital format so far.

They should digitise the other episodes if you ask me.

I've seen an episode. OK, so it's not a masterpiece of broadcasting. But it ain't bad, either. It was based on a successful radio format, though the TV version did not enjoy the same success.

They should also make the digitised episodes more readily available to view. Maybe put them on Amazon Prime or Netflix?

They also hold a number of episodes of the far more successful radio version. They have digitised some of them. These should be made more readily available as well.

At the very least, the voices of the contestants would help settle the long debate about what the Australian accent sounded like during the 1950s!
