My goodness! Between the ultra low resolution that YouTurd compressed the video, and the high contrast the GBA displays, this one is hard to watch. Seriously. Ouch! (If you feel like contributing, consider the Patreon. Everybody who becomes a patrons gets their names at the end of the videos that aren't commercials.) Thanks for watching if you did. I know I can't. Contrast gives me a headache.

I found this in a 6 April 1952 TV episode (search that date and you should be able to find it), but I'm not sure when it first aired...for all I know, it may have first aired in a previous year. Unfortunately, the closing moments of the PSA were cut-off during its broadcast in the program. Please note that the song in this PSA is presumably still copyrighted. A very brief 9-second promo for "The Alan King Show", a pilot which aired on CBS on 18 September 1961. Newspapers of the period suggest it was intended as a one-off special, but if viewers liked it enough, it might be picked up as a series. Ultimately it remained just a special.
