Here are some clips from when an episode of Long Lost Family was airing with the audio and video out-of-sync on TLC, but the commercials were perfectly in sync. Also, the last video in the playlist takes place before the other two in the broadcast, but was recorded last because I decided to re-record it in a better way.

A "Live" 1953 U.S. commercial for Kix Cereal. This is taken directly from an episode of "Ding Dong School", which can also be downloaded on the internet archive. The host of the show, who to an extent had creative control, insisted that only products that were beneficial to children could be advertised on the program. An example of a U.S. "integrated commercial" from the 1950s, which meant including the cast of a series into the commercial, with them remaining in character, sometimes tied into the storyline of the episode. But there were only 3 commercials during the whole broadcast! Interestingly, Grape-Nuts doesn't contain nuts and doesn't contain grapes.

@ videosposts promoted @ GreatVideo.s @ beruehrendefotos promoted @HeldenDieserWelt . I wish everyone saved those commercials and uploaded them to Archive.org or YouTube or whereever else. Maybe, some people of future generations will sit in a cushy, amber-lit room and watch those videos. But Archive.org is more suitable, because YouTube does not support searching by tags anymore. Tags on YouTube are now just information for the algorithm, no longer to facilitate searching.

A commercial for Lark Cigarettes which was broadcast during "The Phyllis Diller Show" (aka "The Pruitts of Southampton") in January 1967. Shot in Chicago, Illinois (doubtlessly in 1966), the music is "The William Tell Overture," better known as the theme to "The Lone Ranger," composed by Gioachino Rossini.
