this morning, fairfax county police are investigating the death of a young construction worolr. >> we're this young man who was younger than 18 years oldie while simply doing his job. this was a construction site on solitary lane in mclean. police say a second construction worker was also injured. the ditch that they were working in somehow collapsed. chopper 4 flew over that site and you can see it right here on your reen. news 4 spoke with the man who lives near that site and he says he often sees those workers and never noticed any unsafe conditions. >> t seemed be really managed, coordinated type of effort going on. personers go out for th who lost their life. >> here is more video from that scene. you see the police tape there. it's not clear how old the worker was who died, but virginia child labor laws say you have to be at least 16 to work in construction. the other worker who was trapped

tracie, what can we expect to see today and what should we keep an eye out for today? >> keep an eye out for someone you have ner seen before likely that is aon zebley, a long-time aide to robert mueller will come with him to advise him during the testimony. this was a last-minute approval by democrats. although, mueller seems as they talked about it a week ago, president ump tweeting that it's very unfr to allow him last minute to come in. he is not expected zebley is to be sworn in or testifyt all. he'll be the guy in robert mueller's ear being fired questions from both democrats and republicans. democrats want him to detail what they believe is lots of vidence of obstruction of justice in his report on russian election interference. on the other side, republicans will be honing in on why that investigation started ifithe st place based on what they think is bad information and fbt miscondu.

increasingly popular. in the coming months we may see more of them in our area. the monomery county council unanimously approved zoning ordnance to allow adus on smaller lots. now supportest say it will create more affordable housing. adus are limited 10% of the lot and must be less than 1,200 square feet. the change is expected to take effect at the end of december. 4:49. on the other side of the potomac, lawmakers are backing a plan that would expand a major roadway that connects virginia and maryland. the louden times mirror is voting to widen 15 north of leesburg tobecome a four-lane roadway up to the river and also include a bypass. the plan cnge is expected to cost upwards of $217 million. this week the news 4 i-team is working for you.

right now all is quiet in the nation's capitol hill. 70 degrees with a light north westerly wind. that northwest wind will keep humidity levels in check for the next few days. so comfortable weather for sure. 60s to around 70 this morning.ou hour by hour planner, highs only around 84 degrees. so, really nice weather. there's that big area of high pressure that's going to be building on in, so there's only the tiniest little chance for a stray shower or two today really along the western shore of the bay down into southern maryland, but eventually even that rain chance will begin to dry up. u can see on future weather today, again that tiny little chance for a stray shower, but 20% oress rain chances. then dry weather here all the way through the rest of the week and all the way through the weekend and into early next week as well. in fact, i think our next best chance for area-wide afternoon edunderstorms doesn't probably show up until wsday or thursday of next week. so, wonderful weather here to finish out the week. great weather for all of our weekend plans as well. temperatures back up to around
