and hold your breath and wait. >> sometimes you don't go to sleep. new stuff is coming in blah, blah, blah. >> this one played out. >> pretty close. one of those nor'easters have their own minds and what not. so many variables this time of year and late in the season but a lot of us getting whacked today with the snowfall rates that are blinding at times. and getting blinded by sun in the western suburbs. as we look here stormtracker 6 live double scan as we can see here most of the area in the dry at this point. from philadelphia, wilmington down to the south again that is where the sunshine is returning because what is basically happening the storm continues to deepen and push away. and all this rising air in the storm. vertical velocities and what rises sinks and rips the clouds

jersey is a lot of trees coming down because of the weight of the snow. this is from somerdale, new jersey, this is a large tree and all root system up here going across the backyard and the bench there, we see the power outages increase with the weight of the snow starting to do damage on some of those weaker trees. winds they are not horrible. nothing like the last nor'easter but steady winds of 16 miles per hour. and 26 at the boardwalk and 10 miles per hour at the lehigh valley. that is bringing the branches down and creating low windchills only in the 20s across the board. a distinctive chill in the air with the warmest spot mt. pocono matching land caffer at 32 degrees. the storm bringing the thundersnow. we had 50 to 100 lightning strikes with the storm heading into new england. there is that drier air coming in near pittsburgh and energy is
