of damage and power outages in the wake of friday's nor'easter. this is video of crews racing against the clock to clean up the damage. "action news" walter perez made the trip north to check in on the storm preparations there. but first lets head outside to melissa magee in for david murphy. >> the latest information is showing that the storm is trending a little warmer and delaying of the arrival of the coastal low, having said that however, this is going to be a significant storm bringing significant snowfall to portions of the delaware and lehigh valley. we have the winter storm warning up for philadelphia to points northern and west. tonight through wednesday. and we have a winter storm watch for interior south jersey and northern delaware. this is what we are tracking, here is stormtracker 6 live double scan radar 3-d we have an area of low pressure moving out

of the northern plains and eventually what i had here was an area of low pressure and arrow shows you that area of low pressure will form another low off the coast and that will be our nor'easter that moves in later on tonight and wednesday. here is future tracker 610:00 tonight light snow developing and spotty slushy accumulation taking place and mixing going on in philadelphia. and rain to the south and east. and during the morning rush tomorrow you may not see a whole lot activity and not a lot of precipitation but light snow will be around and rain across farther south jersey is and into delaware but this is when the heaviest moves in 11:00, 11:30 and noon tomorrow we have the snow with the northeasterly winds moving in and moisture from the atlantic. what to expect with this nor'easter round 2. the winds will not be strong, gusting 40 to 50 miles per hour. not as strong in comparison to the last nor'easter. this is say snow impact.

11:00 p.m. to 6:00 tem is the time period and likely cause additional power outages. we have more details coming up in the full accuweather forecast. lets send it back inside to you. now, lets turn to walter perez. for storm preparations in the lehigh valley. >> the lehigh valley got several inches from the storm on friday and now they could be in for much more. >> that is right. as you mentioned a few days after the coastal storm clobbered our region we are getting ready for another one. this is the penndot salt yard you sigh how the snow from friday's storm is gone but snow emergencies have been declared in municipalities across the lehigh valley in advance of the pending nor'easter and winter storm warning goes into effect at 7:00 and remains in effect until 3:00 a.m. on thursday. we spoke with penndot officials who said if you have plans to

take you on the road tomorrow cancel them if at all possible. >> the main thing to help the drivers do their work is for motorists to stay off the road. we had motorists on the road traveling it creates conditions where our plows can't do their jobs it's very important that they are partners on the road and avoid travel if at all possible. >> reporter: thousands of thousands of homes are still without power across the lehigh valley. many will remain without power through this upcoming storm. reporting live from south whitehall, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. we move across the delaware river now to a live action cam shot in trenton, new jersey, governor phil murphy is scheduled to hold a news conference at 1:00 this afternoon to lay out the storm plans for the garden state. you can watch that on 6abc.com. the "action news" morning

the sky 6 camera was rolling at the eighth street exit. we don't know if the driver was injured but it only took firefighter a few minutes to put out the fire. day two of the bill cosby pretrial hearing just ended in norristown. cosby's attorneys were in norristown fighting to limit the number of accusers that could testify on sex assault charges and is he charged with assaulting andrea constand at his home. and they want as many as 19 others to take the stand to demonstrate a history of abuse. and the lawyers say the accusations are old and impossible to defend. investigators released new surveillance images of a suspect. they believe this is the man that choked the 24-year-old victim on the 3800 block of jasper street on july 12th,

2016. when the victim regained consciousness she was naked with face and head injuries. anyone with information is asked to call police. a deliveryman is recovering from a shooting in philadelphia last night. the victim was placed in an ambulance and the shooting happened on west hag art street. the victim did not even realize he was shot. he is expected to survive. developing overseas, south korea says that north korea is ready for nuclear talks with the u.s. the big news came out of rare talks between the two nations, donald trump applauded the meeting calling it a step toward denuclearization. >> a potential break through. this morning south korea officials were turning from

talks in north korea including a direct meeting with kim jong un announced first. that the regime with wants to talk directly with the u.s. government to talk about deneck larization on the peninsula and they will halt additional nuclear and missile tests. and third, the north pledged they will never use nuclear or conventional weapons against south korea and a direct hot line will be set up with north and south korea and another summit meeting will be held in april. that if north korea believe that military threats are removed they have no need of nuclear weapons. the u.s. government is wary of the promises just trying to peel south korea way from the alliance with the u.s. and mindful of their long history of deceit on this irish you.

abc news london. all right we have breaking news now back here a big collision in washington county, pennsylvania. a train and tractor trailer that was hauling chemicals collided. we are live over the scene. chopper 6 hd showing you the wreckage what is left following this collision. chemicals were spilled and hazmat crews were called to the scene in washington county pennsylvania. and apparently the tractor trailer was hauling hydrochloric acid at the time. and people in the area are evacuated as a precaution. still trying to figure out the extend of any injuries. and a tractor trailer collides in washington county pennsylvania. we'll bring you more information as it becomes available to us. >> and still to come late word

the search is on for two men that robbed a little caesars pizza. the service video shows the two men entering the store on sunday night and one suspect point aid gun at employees and demanded cash from the register and the other suspect took the manager into an office and demanded more money and the suspects ran from the scene with 5$500. no injuries were reported. the state of texas held the first primary. democrats are running in all districts for the first time in 25 years, showing signs of being

tune, here is stormtracker 6 live double scan radar we are dry right now and no issues with precipitation. we are tracking rain, mixed precip and very heavy snow. here is the picture outside. sky 6 hd we are looking at the ben franklin parkway on this tuesday afternoon. got a gentle breeze with the flags blowing. right now you are fine but this time tomorrow your commute could be tricky with snow moving on through. philadelphia in the lower 40s and dew point 23 and winds from the south-southwest ahead of the nor'easter 7 miles per hour. and the pressure is holding steady and current windchill in the city of 40. to the northern and west. lake harmony 39 and slatington 43 and kutztown 43 and media 44 and 48 in malvern. and down in new jersey and along the immediate coastline. surf city 44 and brigantine 42.

and vineland 48 degrees and fortescue upper 30s and 43 in dover. what we are tracking now is on satellite 6 along with action radar we see the low pressure coming out of the northern plains. the same one for the blizzard warnings across the region, this area of low pressure moves across the great lakes and then we have a coastal low develop and this is our nor'easter that throws back moisture our way with the northeasterly wind as early as tomorrow. and really in some spots tonight. here is future tracker 6, 8:00 this evening light snowfall is breaking out in the western suburbs and during the overnight hours, light snow and some mixed precipitation taking place in the city, rain across south jersey and delaware. you wake up tomorrow morning and think there is not a whole lot happening, just wait as we go throughout the rest of the

afternoon. 6:00 in the morning light snowfall will be around and allow extra time for the commute. down across south jersey and delaware still that rain and look at what happens as the area of low pressure works into the region. at rival time of this precipitation is starting to be delay a little bit and we pinned back the arrival times of the heaviest snowfall. 11:00 a.m. we have the snow in philadelphia and to the northern and west 3:00 in the afternoon still snowing and now we have some snow across interior portions of south jersey and rain along the immediate coastline and the storm quickly tapers off from i west east direction as we get after 6:00 tomorrow evening. expected snowfall ever being we have the winter storm warning for philadelphia and also to the northern. 6 to 12 inches of snow is likely in this pink shaded area, i think we'll dissect this more and could be a 12 plus band to the north about 30 miles to the north of philadelphia and up through the poconos and 3 to 6

inches of snow in interior south jersey. but as this storm system is lagging in the development, there will be a sharp cutoff just to the south and east of philadelphia as far as the snowfall amounts are concerned. heavy snow is a big concern and icing brutal cold and moderate concern with the strong winds and the coastal flooding and the winds will not be as strong as they were with the nor'easter on friday. and still gusts 40 to 50 miles per hour. so heavy wet snow moving on through and that weakens the trees and additional power outages as likely as well. turning cloudy today and 47 and dry until this evening and then tracking the heavy wet snow tomorrow. and we'll clear out as we get into late thursday and temperatures in the 40s for the rest of the week. 1:00 we have the new model coming in. >> the home of the flyers and six issers will get a quarter billion dollars makeover. the renovations at the wells
