and feed a new low a nor'easter off of our coast that develops starting late tomorrow night into the day on wednesday but we will see some of this precipitation work in here tomorrow evening to begin everything and in fact a winter storm watch now up from the national weather service. this begins tuesday evening after dark after the evening rush tomorrow lasts until wednesday night so it is a good 24 plus hours with precipitation and it's basically the heart of the delaware valley all points to the north and west northern delaware, really just extreme southern jersey as well as the shore and extreme southern delaware. the watch meaning the potential is there for a heavyaccumulating snow and wind yet again. as we look at tracker here, there's that low going across the ohio valley. this is 1 o'clock on wednesday morning. going around the midnight hour you see snow, rain, some sleet breaking out. there's the low to the south that's going to take over and this becomes a power house nor'easter just off of our coastline going into wednesday afternoon. that would be the height of the storm with the winds wrapping in around it out of

the northwest. now the last go round these isobars, the lines that are white were really tightly packed with those 60 plus miles an hour winds. the winds won't be as strong with this storm but the snowfall totals will be much higher so the wind not as strong, the take away with this nor'easter tuesday night into the day on wednesday this is more of a snow impact. heavy wet snow that will accumulate pretty much everywhere. the heaviest of the storm and the heaviest of the snow and wind 10:00 a.m. wednesday through 6:00 p.m. on wednesday and we are calling for additional power outages given more wind and very heavy wet snow. we'll talk about snow totals coming up in that full accuweather forecast, brian, in just a little bit. >> lots to watch for adam. thank you. delaware county was one of the hardest hit areas on friday. seems like they won't be spared with this next one. many neighborhoods still dealing with power outages and navigating around fallen trees. john rawlins live in havertown where crews are still busy

cleaning up what they can and as quickly as they >rect. they are focused on bigotry that came down here. we'll tell that you story in a moment. system wide at its peak peco says that about 630,000 of its customers were without power to put that into context that's more than a third of its entire electrical customer base of 1.6 million people. 42,000 people still without power. that's spread all across the region particularly in the suburbs and including here in havertown. as of midafternoon peco said it restored power to 90 percent of those who had been in the dark but if you were one of the 10 percent it's been a long often cold 72 hours. >> it's 47 degrees in my house right now. >> reporter: for those waiting the multi stage restoration process could be baffling. >> i guess i realize that, tongue it's a process and i'm not the only person in the world but without knowing anything that's where you get the frustration. >> reporter: friday 4:00 p.m. this maple crushed a car and dragged down a 7600-volt

power line. lights out. this morning a utility crew arrived. its job just to make sure all power was shut off and the area was safe and grounded for the next expected crew. these men with chain sauce. their role cut up and take away the giant tree and then and only then will it be ready for yet another crew like this one, which will repair the actual damage and restring the line. that crew could be local or as peco said, from far away. >> from louisiana georgia arkansas texas. we've got a thousand additional personnel to come in and work on our system to restore service. >> reporter: for wary sleep deprived residents that can't come soon enough. >> i don't know. they're telling us either tonight at midnight or tomorrow sometime, so it's been crazy. >> reporter: it's getting frustrating i guess. >> it's a little frustrating. >> reporter: well, mr. goldsmith there one of the

month's retrial of bill cosby. bill cosby returned to the norristown courthouse for a new round of pretrial hearings on the drugging and sexual assault charges against him. lodged by former temple university employee andrea constand who says the now disgraced show biz legend drugged her with blue pills and then sexually assaulted her at his cheltenham mansion back in 04, the first trial ended with a hung jury. cosby's new defense team has signaled their aggressive strategy at today's hearing they moved to have the charges dismissed on grounds the statute of limitations has passed. constand as testified that assault occurred in january of 04 but cosby's lawyers say they'll produce phone records showing she made no calls to open the drive way gates at the cosby home during that month in question. the prosecution is trying once again get judge steven o'neill to allow testimony by 19 other alleged cosby victims going back more than four decades to testify that bill cosby

stormstorm tracker6 low pressure. precipitation extending east that ow. this low goes to the ohio valley and then it develops a nor'easter. that powerful storm off of our coastline and that heads into new england. so winter storm watches in effect for not only all of new england but also parts of the midatlantic including philadelphia all points to the north and west. this winter storm watch goes into effect tomorrow evening and lasts through the entire day on wednesday meaning that is the area that's going to get hit the hardest with the snow aspect of this storm. so, the timeline with this, between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. tomorrow night light rain and wet snow arrives from the south to the north. so it's after the evening rush. wednesday morning when you wake up light snow north and west of philadelphia rain right around the city, south and east and again, you wake up wednesday morning and say, maybe we can go to work, not much is happening but by midday on wednesday into the afternoon, that's when the winds pick up and that heavy wet snow starts to fall, so as

today. she's live in west whiteland township with the story. annie. >> reporter: and brian behind this home the backyard in this home behind me there was a sinkhole that did appear this weekend. you can see crews still working out there. officials say that the sinkhole back here is about 16 feet deep but this is not something new for this neighborhood only a couple of doors down there was a sinkhole that did appear in the fall and another one again this weekend. a sinkhole now the size of a swimming poohly is in pj allen's backyard. the ground began hoping here in november. >> while they were doing this 24 hoeated a second sinkhole right next to my existing sinkhole. we didn't know it until the next day. created a sinkhole up hersunocokesperson said that on saturday they took immediate action and released this statement today saying in part we injected and approved liquid concrete mix or sometimes referred to as flowable fill into holes that were created by soil movement. this action has been completed and all areas have been secured. the pipeline project under

a southwest philadelphia senior citizen is on the mend after a stray bullet came through her window injuring her while she was asleep. you can see the hole where the bullet pierced the glass along the 7100 block of brant place overnight. investigators say the 72-year-old woman who was in bed at the time heard a gunshot and then felt pain in her thigh. at first she thought she was shot but it turns out she was actually hurt by a piece of shattered glass. she was taken to the hospital to be checked out. police are still looking for the gunman. >> police are on the hunt now for four masked men who stormed a west philadelphia mini market with guns drawn. this is the shoked suspect asred ins market in the 5200 block of jefferson street last monday. now, one of them was armed with a back stealing cash and making their get athinou iolen cri w to hear from you. two philadelphia women arrest a large fiat a deptford which you chuck e cheese.t trathey were involved in a brawl last night at that restaurant on almonesson road. a female customer was cut by a

teens could be misinterpreted in today's climate. for today it has not been canceled but the school is actively encouraging students from taking part. a new york city woman plans to fight a $94,000 bill her landlord wants her to pay for a 100 square foot room. before you take sides here you should know that that room is actually a dormitory. and that woman dropped out of college two years ago. this lisaormer student hasn't been enrolled in classes since 2016 but refuses to move out of her manhattan dorm room. how about that? the school has posted several eviction notices and charged her $94,000 in unpaid residence but palmer isn't going anywhere. the geography major who has twoses, a semester before graduating after she tuition. now palmer disputes the claim that she's a squatte every register f just sfight the case. >> now in addition to suing palmer for the he school is now asking the county sheriff or the city

marshall to evict her. no that hunter college on why they have not simply changed the locks. this woman getting a whole lot of attention for a lot of good reason, sharrie. >> college was fun my when i got there but i was ready to go after a few years. >> thinking of that movie where the guy refuses to graduate. >> we've got to google that one. >> yeah. >> brian thanks. time for another check on the roads this afternoon. matt pelman in the "action news" traffic center with the update for us. >> sharrie we know on friday afternoon a lot of people felt like they were stuck for a very long time, maybe it even felt like years. going to feel quite as long but it's still going to take you some time to get home here along 95. northbound by cottman avenue as the traffic snakes along here in the northbound lanes, really slow clip from bridge street up to approaching woodhaven road. that's where we had a disabled vehicle earlier now all off to the side but people are slowing down to see what's going on. so that travel time has more than a 20 minute delay on the northbound side of 95 because of that earlier disabled

vehicle. still cleaning up from the storms. the big storm on friday, the nor'easter. we still have a lot of storm damage we're dealing with. traffic lights still on the fritz. a tree blocking queen lane. wynnewood road remains blocked in wynnewood, glendale road in delco downed tree blocking that as well. you've got traffic light troubles and debris along both three 20's and 252. usually if you don't use one you use the other. we will portions of both are blocked in delaware county this afternoon but, but livelook noon.n, because of a downed tree by the presbyterian church. maybe use stenton avenue. bells mill road blocked because of numerous downed trees. that's causing delays along ridge pike. northernre it trees, portions of creek centreville falkland and karr roads remain closed this afternoon. we'll check it again brian and sharrie coming up in the 5 o'clock hour. >> so much cleanup still to be done. >> for sure. >> matt, thanks. stepping outside right now, a live look through sky6 hd. it's beautiful today.

>> ♪♪ adam joseph with word that we are going to be out in just a couple of days time. >> that we are. a lot of people still trying up from this previous storm and won't get it done in time for the next storm beginsnd this next storm winds aren't the major issue. they're an issue. they're not the major issue with the amount of snow and the consistency of this snow. as we take a look at the weather center here right now sky6 live a beautiful picture to begin our week over the ben franklin bridge. in the sun it feels pretty good if you're protected from that wind. in fact temperatures are in the 40's across the area but feeling a little colder with

that wind especially in the shade. but we're going to get a good thump of snow here on wednesday. again, one of those sat starts very light and then all of a sudden it just whacks you as we get into wednesday with heavy snow and low and visibilities. winds gusting 40 to 45 miles per hour, not the 60 to 65 but even 40 to 45 will do some damage across the region here, not as much as we saw with the last system but also when you're talking about coastal flooding looks to be minor with this event moving forward temps right now in the 40s area wide. the same for cape may but again we're still dealing with a bit of a wind so it feels more like the 30's despite air temperatures in the 40's, so still a bit of a chill in the air. if you're not in that direct sunshine. but we do have that sun right now, some high clouds to the west. you start to see a little precipitation entering your screen from the left there. that is the beginning stages of our storm. it is low pressure in the northern plains. this low goes into the ohio

valley brings us light rain snow and sleet first thing tomorrow evening before that nor'easter truly develops during the day on wednesday. so, tomorrow not a bad day overall. sunshine in the morning, clouds build in the afternoon very light winds. going to feel pretty good with temperatures in the mid and upper 40's across-the-board from the lehigh valley delaware valley to the shore. but between about 7 o'clock, 10 o'clock that's when precipitation breaks out. it is very light at the beginning some rain south of the city mixing with a little wet snow and rain in and around philadelphia in that blue area and all snow at the onset reading allentown to the poconos. still very light on wednesday morning. this precipitation won't be heavy at that point. still rain in the green. still a mix along i-95, snow to the north and west but as that nor'easter deepens and strengthens, then it starts to bring the colder air in and we start to bring that snow back into the city here around lunchtime on wednesday. still rain down the shore and then heavy snow sets in all points down to the south going into wednesday afternoon.

that would be the height of the storm and then it starts to depart as we get into wednesday evening and by 10 o'clock everything is shutting off. now, as we take a look at this expected snowfall map two to 4 inches in southern areas at the very tail end of the storm. four to 8-inches lancaster wilmington, most of delaware, millville, south jersey, near atlantic city points to the north and a big area of eight to 16, it's a pretty wide range. we still have to see the track of this storm and who gets close to that foot or even more. is it over filly? is it to the north and west? is it to the south and east? we're honing in this general area but tomorrow we'll fine tune it and squeeze it down a little bit to show you who could get the most but overall a pretty big storm for most of us. as we look at the exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast sun to clouds for tomorrow, 47 degrees. windy heavy wet snow during the day on wednesday of 37 degrees. thursday blustery, some sun 44 degrees. and then clouds and sun top round out the week on friday of 45 and as we head into the

protecting yourself against identity theft. patrick says filing taxes is a headache but every year he gathers his paperwork and tackles the taxes well ahead of the april deadline. >> my motivation for filing my taxes early is just to get my refund back as quick as possible. >> reporter: getting your refund quickly is not the only upside of filing early. it can also protect you against criminals who file a phony return using your stolen social security number to collect your refund. the i.r.s. tells us the good news is the number of victims of identity theft on tax returns has fallen by about two-thirds since 2015 due to improved security. >> but there are growing concerns that data breaches since then could cause a spike in i.d. theft. after all there were 143 million people in the equifax breach affected last year. >> reporter: you may have received a notice from the i.r.s. that offers you an identity protection pin or ip pin. it gives an extra layer of security. you'll need to provide that pin along with your and social security number on your federal return.

wynnewood montgomery county with the efforts there. >> but firs latest on this next nor'easter from are meteorologist cecily tynan. >> this is news people still recovering from friday's major nor'easter do not want to hear but double scan live showing that next storm system, the pieces already in the map. we've got low pressure the northern plains. that has been creating blizzard conditions and what this will do, it will transfer its emergency to a coast -- energy to a coastal low. that s intensifies and that brings us what is likely major snowstorm. we already have winter storm watches in effect for most of our viewing areas, essentially interior south jersey, the dllaw alathere will be some mixing along the that limit some of the snowfall amounts. the timing shows that low pressure continues to track to the east. coastal low develops by wednesday in the wee hours of the morning. wednesday morning, i think a lot of people may be caught off guard because the precipitation will be light to begin with. there will be a mixture with some of that rain
