with sprinkles in the region. it is hit or miss at this point. as we pop out we notice there is a void in the rain from where we're seeing the showers. getting the break in the evening and first part of the overnight hours, and this batch pushing in from the midwest into the ohio valley will arrive after midnight. and that is when the steadiest rain will be pushing in. in fact, futuretracker will show by about 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning that's when mainly the steady showers take over the entire region. and that continues during the early-morning hours of saturday. so what to expect here between now and midnight, just some on and-off showers. a little cool and a little damp. late tonight, early saturday morning is when we get steady rain, a quarter to 3/4 of an inch. and tomorrow afternoon cool and cluedy and drying north to south as the afternoon progresses. talking about a better second

half of the weekend and a brighter sky coming up in the accuweather forecast. >> good news there, thank you. a night of terror for employees at a restaurant. a group of armed benefit robbed them in bensalem this morning forcing the workers into a freezer while they took everything they can. and john rawlins with more on the search for the men who did this. >> hi, brian. this was primarily an armed robbery. the seven workers who were closing up the bar at the time were terrified at the time. they lost all of their personal belongings, their wallets, i.d.s, phone, house keys and then corralled and put in a house freezer. they are hoping the public can help find the guys that did it. the bar louis opened up for business following the overnight heist after the first of seven workers were threatened by armed

men as they exited the backdoor of the bar. >> approached by three to five hispanic or black males wearing ski marks. they had a hand gun, stun gun and large butcher-style knife. >> one of the workers not want be to be identified talked how they were confronted. >> the employee says that staffers were roughed up, threatened with death. one shocked with a stun gun. bar safe. the police will not say how much was taken we are told it is in excess of $10,000 and the company had no comment. the leaves he says -- the thieves escaped taking a worker's mustang. and the car was ditched and they hope that they saw someone get out of the distinctive wheels.

immediate ruling today. merlino will be free pending a decision. the jury convict iing raghu yandamuri in his trial. the jurors will decide whether he should be sentenced to death for killing 10-month-old saanvi venna and her grandmother. and giving a tearful statement, and david henry with the detaillights -- details on the emotional plea. the ebola outbreak claimed more than 4,000 lives. one of the deaths in dallas. today the doctors there are trying to find out how they could have handled that case better. saying thomas duncan was originally sent home from the emergency room despite having a 103-degree fever. meanwhile the man making a joke of having ebola on an airplane is back in the united states today. that comment set off a hazmat response on a flight from

here at the big board. besides serving as the voice of hope and inspiration, also now the youngest nobel peace prize winner in history. malala yousafzai one of two awarded this distinction today. malala shared the honor with kailash satyarthi of india, also being awarded for work on children's rights. it was only two years ago that a taliban gunman shot malala in the head for trying to get an education. since then the brave, young girl has become an international voice of change, turning her own tragedy into a chance to campaign for education and equality for young girls, especially in the face of extremism.

you could say about the stock market is that the week was over, i may say that nor the roads. it is almost over. making the way home on this friday, happy friday but it will take you some time this afternoon. wet conditions in spots and a whole lot of volume on the schuylkill expressway westbound side. we also had a crash right here by city avenue that just cleared from the shoulder. the westbound remains extra heavy from montgomery drive through this point on out towards conshohocken. eastbound also heavy but not as bad as the westbound travel time. 95 also the typical slow self with speeds just in the teens on the northbound side by the betsy ross bridge. and a crash by girard college along ridge avenue at college avenue. and big problems this average on 422. a vehicle fire blocking the eastbound lanes between sanitoga and limerick. and a gaper delay on the westbound side. and a crash on pottsville road.

a woman caught on camera plotting her fiancee's murder calling it a misunderstanding. jessica spoke about the video she offered someone $1,000 in exchange for killing him. john said his relationship turned toxic and claimed she was the victim of abuse, and she

store the snapchat material that is otherwise automatically deleted after recipients use it. the breach may impact as many as 200,000 users, many of whom are under age. now to texas where the old saying can good things come to those who wait did not apply to one especially patient criminal. this is surveillance video of two men pretending to shop at a family dollar in houston. instead, one of the suspects kneels down in an aisle, clears out a shelf and climbs inside. the other guy soon reappears and starts to restock the shelf to hide the partner. the first partner stayed there two hours coming out when the store closed. the only problem they didn't know there was a motion sensor alarm. the suspect ran to the door the second he triggered it, escaping without a single stolen item. here at the big board with the big talkers and the big question out of what is heard by
