owe live on the campus where grief counselors will be available. jan? >> reporter: police continue to investigate this deadly fall at this point they don't believe foul play was involved but they do believe this 18 year old temple university freshman may have been sitting on the window sill trying to take a picture when she fell to her death and injured a pedestrian walking on the street below. >> shoes on the sidewalk a grim reminder what happened here at 16th and chestnut streets thursday evening. >> eighteen year old temple university student falls to death out after window eight stories up. >> tragedy, my heart goes out to the family. >> police are searching for surveillance video in the area hoping to gain clearer picture every what happened but preliminarily, investigators say no indication foul play was involved. >> she may have been leaning out the window, she may even have been sitting on the ledge, about 2-foot wide ledge possibly taking some pictures. >> investigators say the woman may have slipped as she tried to go back inside, the student was visiting two friends, at art institute of philadelphia dorm room at the time. police are questioning the two other student who were there when the student fell, hit 44 year old woman below 16th street. forty-four year old female, she was conscious, she was talking, she was very upset and complaining of pain. that woman taken to hand mat hop hospital in stable condition. >> busy area of center sit. >> i ooh you would never think that someone would like fall on you while walking down the spree, very fortunate

nos zero nicetown, north 18th street, people were inside the house at the time of the crash. as every now no injuries have been reported. very young neighbor says the commotion. >> i heard like a car noise came, and crashed into a wall. >> my wife and children a sleep. i heard loud bang my neighbor banking on the door, let me know someone was on my porch basement damaged as well as front porch. >> no injuries have been reported. we're told the crash caused a large pipe in the home to burst. >> also, new from overnight, a driver is fighting for his life after police say passenger in his car shot him multiple times. it happened after midnight along the 5400 block every ludlow street in west philly. an eyewitness who was also in the car told police the two men struggled and that's when the gunman shot the driver once if the back of the head and four times in the arm. police hope surveillance video in that area will help lead them to the suspect. nicole? >> ukee, stretch of i95 in bucks county back open this morning. after multi-vehicle accident shut it down for hours. the crash happened on the northbound lanes, near street road in bensalem, around 1:15 yesterday afternoon. fifty-eight year old palmyras died in the wreck. police say he was driving tractor trail their hit another truck and caused that chain reaction crash. one truck lost its load of scrap metal. the road was fully reopened, ten hours later shortly after 11:00 last night. >> pulled out gun fire first all happened during traffic stop on vander avenue blocks from pro-police rally.

"eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo at temple right now where grief counselors will be available. january, good morning. >> ukee, nicole, good morning temple university student will be mourning the loss of one of their fellow students, a freshman here, at the university. as this police investigation continues. at this point they do not believe foul play is involved. they believe this 18 year old woman was actually sitting on a window sill trying to take her picture when she fell to her death and injured a pedestrian, who was on the street. take a lack at the video. >> this all unfolded yesterday, with terrible scene, in a very busy area of center city near 16th and chestnut streets. police say it was just before 6:00 thursday when this temple university student fell to her death. they say she was visiting two friends, inside after art institute of philadelphia dorm room. both of those student are being questioned by police. so are a loft witnesses on the grounds when the 18 year old fell she actually fell on top of 44 year old woman who was walking on 16th street. police say that woman suffered injuries to her neck and her back and had some of her teeth knocked out. she was taken to hahnemann hospital in stable condition and is expected to be okay. meantime again police are obtaining search warrant for the dorm room and revealing surveillance video in the areas as part of the investigation. they're hoping to get clearer picture of what happened. it is a scenario, though, that has shock many in center city. >> you would never think that someone would fall on you while you are trying to walk down the street. very unfortunate accident.
