two weeks. and taking kyle crosby in custody a short time ago, investigators have been looking for him since january 9 when he up and vanished nine days after his wife disappeared. >> erica crosby was last seen with her husband on december 30th. her family is fearing the worst. "action news" reporter dann cuellar with the latest on the breaking story. >> 27-year-old kyle crosby had been sought for questioning in connection with the disappearance of his wife. police say he gave a little bit of a run before encountered tonight in a chase. "action news" there as kyle crosby was being he is courted to the mount laurel police for questioning in the disappearance of his wife erica. >> where is erica at? >> nothing to stay as he was put into the police car. she was last seen with kyle coming out of the public. saying his wife left him and he didn't know where she was.

when the water department arrived it was a larger large pond at that intersection. the road is buckled and shutdown until further notice. the police are on the scene of a double shooting in an apartment complex which has residents concerned for their safety. "action news" reporter kenneth moton live at the scene in newark with the very latest. kenneth? >> let me walk you right through because we still have a very active scene in newark delaware where the police are continuing their investigation. two men were hit when the slots were fired. we don't know who was doing the shooting or if the shooter is still on the loose. what we know is that one man is dead and another barely hanging on. it was a large scene with the new castle county police all over it in newark delaware. shots were fired on this block of vine around 7:30 in this complex filled with dozens of families. >> i was watching tv and then we

"action news" at 10:30 on phl 13 continues with brian taff, shirleen allicot meteorologist adam joseph and ducis rodgers. hello again. thanks for joining us tonight. it is 10:30 and the big stories we are covering on "action news" at 10:00. the husband of a missing mount laurel mother taken in custody. kyle crosby tried to flee driving erica crosby's car not scene since december 31. kyle disappeared after questioned the first time. the last several minutes we learned a second person is dead after this shooting in newark delaware. police say shots were fired at the apartment complex on viningsway. and one person dead on the sidewalk and as we just told you a second died this one at the hospital. the new castle county police are

double scan areas in south jersey and delaware pushing off shore and do so by midnight and then improvement getting into tuesday. rainfall totals with the moisture that we had overhead today philadelphia more than a half inch. more than an inch there in dover. same thing in millville. close to about a quarter of an inch and more than that in the poconos. and as well in wildwood. the moisture is moving out and the temperatures tonight will drop below freezing. that's the big concern. we can talk about what we can expect. rain ends by midnight and temperatures below 32 degrees. that means any wet surfaces will freeze rather quickly watch out for black ice for the morning rush on the sidewalks, the secondary roads and also on some of the driveways as well. temperatures are chilly above freezing. 38 in philadelphia 37 in allentown, 36 in sea isle city upper 30s in dover, lancaster and wilmington. the only spot below freezing poconos at 28.

and there is a frontal boundary making progress to the south and east. it will continue to do so. there are clouds that are thinning out in the great lakes and the ohio valley. what is happening to the northerly wind drying out conditions for tuesday. the call from accuweather looking at the morning rush mostly sunny, breezy and wind chills in the teens. 6:00 a.m. 28. holding 28 degrees at 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning on tuesday. the set-up for you on tuesday, high pressure takes over the great lakes and the northern plains. the high temperature in philadelphia coming in at 30 degrees with the northerly winds sustaining 7-14 miles per hour. and wind chills in the 20s. and the high pressure loses its grip midweek and tracking area of pressure coming up the coast. it looks like the moisture staying well away from the region, and probably the only thing you find mild week clouds and flurries south and east of the cities. otherwise chilly. and the other good news is the

gave $10,000 to a new initiative in chester to install outdoor security cameras to help with crime in the city. >> it is important we do our part for a safe environment for our customers and associates. why we are here today. >> december 2013 a rite-aid manager was shot and killed in the chester story in the 2700 block of west ninth street. the crime the major reason the corporation decided to contribute to this crime-fighting effort. >> now we have a private corporation that could choose to not get involved but instead has demonstrated what corporate citizenship is about. >> and a task force of community leaders visited other cities and found cameras help deter and solve crime. chester only a few on the streets. >> you can count them on one hand. five or six cameras. over the years they stopped

charges. saying he assaulted five of the young players and a mentally disabled adult. and hoping that the classrooms will be safe from closure but time is running out. until thursday to fill the $250,000 deficit or close its doors. still $13,000 shy of the goal officials say tuition doesn't cover operation costs and the archdiocese of trenton says it can no longer fund the k-8 schooling. st. paul's will clothes in june if funds are not raised. a former palmer charter teacher going in search of answers today at philadelphia school district headquarters. 175 staff members owed a month's worth of back wages and benefits after the school's abrupt closure in december under a mountain of debt. they say they are also unable to get unemployment because the state can't confirm the school closed. >> facing being homeless with my children because i'm not going
