test test >> friday night prosecutors argued one person kidnapped and assaulted a girl in west philadelphia and tonight, there's a conviction in their case. and a philadelphia highrise will be reduced to rubble tomorrow and neighbors living nearby are advised to evacuate for the demolition. but the big story on "action news" is developing news involving accusations after domestic abuse of the biggest names in the national football league. there's a warrant out tonight for arrest of minnesota vikings running back adrian peterson indicted on charge of injuryry

to a child and that child is one of his own sons. shirleen has the details tonight at the "action news" big board. >> peterson said he was not trying to hurt his son when he used a switch to spank him. it is the way he was disciplined as a child so. far he's not in custody and lawyer says he is cooperating with investigators. the lawyer released a statement saying in part, adrian as never hidden from what happened. he's cooperated fully with authorities and voluntary testified before the grand jury for several hours. tonight the vikings benched peterson for this weekend's game against new england. nfl has yet to respond. just last season peterson lost a child domestic violence the boy frechbd the child's mother is charged in the 2-year-old death and peterson indictment comes in the same week as this incident. ray rice incident in nfl facing heavy scrutiny for this domestic abuse case and there's questions

guilty on all counts. that was verdict handed down today by the jury in a case against christina regusters it took the panel 6 hours to reach the conclusion that 1-year-old did abduct and sexually assault a 5-year-old girl. and sharee williams live tonight outside the courthouse in center city and sharee here comes the sentencing phase. you're right about that, brian, penalty phase is set for december and in court today, regusters trembled each time she heard the word guilty. prosecutors could not have done this was the brave help of 7-year-old now survivor and a key piece of evidence talking bird named marty. >> it took six hours for a jury to convict former day a care worker christina regusters this was here a then 19-year-old who wore a muslim disguise to game access to a kindergarten class

at bryant elementary. january, 2013 regusters took the young girl to a nearby house sexually assaulting her during a 19 hour ordeal keeping the girl naked under a bed. detectives say she tried to fool the 5-year-old into thinking three people were involved instead of one. >> she fed her information about the alleged man including showing a picture on the cellphone. there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that man ever existed. >> a day later regusters left the girl alone after dark at a park dressed only in a tee shirt. police later closed in on regusters with the little girl's help. >> the child miraculously was able to identify this home from the back stairway. flew was a bird. >> this is marty the bird videotaped by police inside regusters home after she was arrested. police say this is a closed case. but regusters lawyer still believes there were others involved. >> i just think this is a die bolical plan and i don't think

>> "action news" at 10:30 begins breaking news in delaware as someone struck and killed eye bicyclist and drove off. near horseshoe hill road the driver hit the cyclist and left tlim in the roadway. police say he was discovered by a passerby and the man was rushed to christianne hospital where he died and we still don't have any information on what kind of car hit him. but police have shut down breckenridge road while they search for evidence there. >> we're following another breaking story out of camden, new jersey a couple was walking near 7th and spruce when the driver of an suv hit them. both of them have serious injuries but it is the driver that appears to have sustained the most serious injuries and a pipe impaled his mid section he was trapped in his suv an hour and went to the hospital with the pipe still in him. we don't know what caused him to

tanersville and slatington 55 st. david's 59. so you see bubble of 50s. cooler north and west again because we still have clear skies. but down to the south where we have somewhat cloud cover kind of influencing the air temperature still in the upper 60s along the shore and also because of the ocean temperature cinnaminson 6 a5 and but interior southern new jersey starting to see those temperatures also fall into the lower 6 0s. satellite and radar we have precipitation down to the south. we have precipitation to the north and west and all this is moving in that northwesterly direction and as it does we will get clipped by this system with some light showers here on saturday. so future tracker will show clouds will be pulling in off the ocean first thing tomorrow morning. if you're up very early, maybe some breaks of sun, and then the clouds really takeover some spotty showers or maybe someies drizzle here around the lunchtime hour and then bulk of steadier showers will come on during the afternoon and continue through 4:30 and then
