we're talking to the gloucester township police chief, coming up at 6:00. but for now we are live in camden noel mcclaren for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thank you very much. other news from camden county tonight this house fire, the the causes under investigation at this point. chopper three over the the scene earlier this afternoon it was crestmont terrace in collinswood, where the fire quickly reached two alarms with heavy smoke and fire coming from the second and third floors of the home, there are no reports of any injuries. in philadelphia, police hope that this new surveillance video we will leave them to two suspects wanted for shooting and beating in queen village. now this video shows man and woman approaching victim at second and carpenter on saturday, and would the man then hits the victim with the baseball bat abe then the man shoots the victim in the leg as he tries to get a away. again, police need your help if you recognize these suspect you are asked to give them a call. it is a hard to believe but two years after super

storm sandy roared a shore some residents in new jersey are still recovering, and still waiting for funding. you can see along i-95 corridor some steady showers and a few lingering behind through allentown and also reading. the clouds shield is also not that far behind, as well, in philadelphia we are seeing consistent rain that moving into south jersey through city where we see darker green color that is where we're seeing the the pockets of some heavier rain. that blue line shows us where the cloud shield is, clearing skies, behind it, and so during the evening and overnight will be able to see that clearing from west to east. temperatures have tumbled significantly today, the high at 1:00 p.m. 70 degrees, just a great afternoon. by 2:00, 66. within two hours, 3:00 o'clock a 10-degree dive at 60. 54 degrees at 4:00 p.m. now we are looking at 54 and steady for 59:00 o'clock hour. millville, milder where we have not seen cool air moving in just yet, wildwood the same but it is 48 in the poconos where a cold front has already moved through. so our first forecast shows a chance of the few showers by 7:00.

ocean city student go to our web site at cbs philly.com. philadelphia police are searching for person who ripped off a beer distributor in bridesberg, that suspect got in through a rear cement wall and once inside went to the counter and grabbed cash, plus some ipads this happened on october 18th at salmon beer distributor on aramingo avenue. suspect left the property through the same opening in that rear wall. police in moorestown burlington county are searching for a man exposed himself to children on a school bus. this happened around 7:45 yesterday morning at morton landing and westfield roads. at the time of the incident police say suspect was driving a gray car possibly an acura or honda. if you have any information, call police. septa riders are preparing for what could be a strike that could announced within the next few days. that strike would affect buses, subways or trolleys but not the regional rail lines. negotiations do continue tonight between septa and its

transport workers union. those workers have been without a contract since the spring and one big sticking point is over pensions. septa believes its offers have been more than generous, union leaders say riders will get at least 24 hours notice before a strike begins. work is underway to revive a long vacant shopping center in clementon, camden county, these 3 acres along the white horse pike were once home to a department store and a supermarket. developers there are now transforming the site to include 205 town houses, walking trails and small businesses. it will be called the lee wood village at rowan pond. the first phase of 49 houses are now expected to be finished by next summer. still to come on cbs-3 "eyewitness news" at 5:00 new details about the nurse who demanded she be taken out of ebola quarantine in new jersey, why she says she will not obey orders, to isolate herself. pope francis and big bang

love and when they come home, they deserve to be treated properly. they deserve to be treated like the heroes that they are. >> reporter: doctor kent brantly, who survived the virus and donated blood plasma to other ebola patients in the u.s. took part in the white house event. the president says that government policies to stop the virus from spreading in the united states should be based on science and good practices, not fear. several states have issued mandatory quarantine protocols that go beyond federal guidelines. >> i put those on notice who think that we should hide from these problems. that is not who we are. that is not who i am. that is in the who these folks are. >> reporter: according to a new cbs news poll of 1200 people nationwide 80 percent say americans returning from west africa should be quarantined upon arrival. most also think that foreign visitors from the ebola zone should be quarantined, and 27 percent don't think they

should aloud back in the country at all. >> meanwhile the u.s. military is taking extra precautions, today defense secretary chuck hagel proved plans to keep troops returning from ebola response missions under supervised isolation for 21 days, more than 1,000 u.s. troops are currently in west africa supporting the fight against ebola. omar villafranca for cbs news. in our area we know pennsylvania has been monday in forking over 100 people for ebola, about 40 of them are in philadelphia, none has symptoms, and there are those suspected cases in our area. >> late today we do know that officialness delaware are monitoring 11 people that they consider at low risk fore bowl, they recently traveled from west africa and they are now in delaware. >> they have all been provided a fever monitoring kit, they have been instructed on how to take their temperature twice daily and they are being contacted every day by the division of public health. >> delaware health officials

poconos where we are going towards past peak and it is dry at jack frost big boulder. this line of showers moving through very quickly, most of the rain activity in south jersey right now. storm scan three you can see one line of showers through new york, trenton and extending down towards millville and some, scrappy showers, you could call them, just here and there and a few to our northern and western burbs. mostly off to the east. you can see heavier returns, dark greens and yellow pushing their way along 295 north, towards trenton, south of that area as well into pemberton, pine barons and drying conditions through abington and philadelphia for now but a a few more showers lingering into the early evening and then skies will clear. in philadelphia a 54. fifty-four wilmington. you can see where rain and coal front has been and where it hasn't been just yet. millville, wildwood, atlantic city enjoying temperatures in the 60's. in the wake of the front skies will clear quickly tonigmostly r thursday, temperatures in the upper 50's to around 60 degrees. still pleasant.

high pressure moves in. during the the day on friday we will see temperatures that will still be in the 50's, cool but dry these showers will hold off until saturday, and that is good news so for our trick or treating it looks cool but pleasant. then this area of low pressure moves off shore toward mid-atlantic and strengthen over the course of the weekend. on shore flow will keep it cool, we will see showers and it will be blustery with temperatures in the 40's we will be feeling the change since it has been so mile. future weather has a good grip where rain is right now. you can see that cloud shield through the poconos. 9:00 p.m. you will draw a line along i-95 corridor to the north and west, it is clear. south and east still some clouds but everyone is cleared out and tomorrow morning suspect a beautiful sunrise with full sunshine. those clear skies will continue right into early friday morning. so jet stream is going to begin its dip tonight, through friday and really bottom out, round out that trough through the deep south, by saturday, that very chilly air moves in. this is what you can expect

i'm chris may and here are some of the top stories for you, camden county police officer ashley bailey and her husband are 40 people arrested and charged in connection with the drug trafficking network. authorities say that, suspect distributed more than a million-dollar worth of heroin and cocaine, each year, across south jersey. well, we have new video of that rocket explosion from virginia last night, this was actually taken by an ocean city high school student. that student, and several others the from the school, were there, they had a science experiment that was destroyed on board that rocket. and rebuilding process continues now, two years after super storm sandy slammed into the new jersey shore, sandy devastated the oceanfront coastline and caused more than $65 billion in damage. kate? i remember that day welshing of course, chris.

now at 6:00 o'clock she took an oath to serve and protect, but this camden county police officer now finds herself on the other side of the law. she's among 40 people arrested and charged in connection with the drug trafficking network. good evening, i'm chris may. i'm jessica dean. prosecutors say that the officer is married to one of the alleged drug dealers in the case. "eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren is live in camden with more on how this investigation unfolded, noel. >> reporter: jessica, tens of thousands of dollars of drugs are off the streets in south jersey and investigators say that many of them can be linked right back here to the camden county police department. her job was to keep the the streets clean of crime but instead investigators say camden county patrol officer ashley bailey was keeping the drug business, very much alive, and they said 28 year-old rookie kopa cyst ted a long list of drug dealers and gang members with connection toss her husband.
